Timeline for Blue Line

1986: The company was founded by Niels Pedersen, focusing on sales of IT hardware modules, printers, accessories, etc. 

1988: The first PC is launched. The concept is built-to-order, which is unusual in the 80s and attracts many customers

1990: Move to the new facilities and expansion of production. The client list grows and includes many of the largest Danish companies and educational institutions

1998: Focus is directed towards the industrial market and demanding environments

1999: Expansion with new production in Lystrup, Denmark

2002: Move to new facilities in Århus N

2004: Win the largest order so far for 1,500 computers

2008: The first stainless steel HMI is developed and delivered to leading customers within the pharmaceutical industry 

2010: Named as a Gazelle company in recognition of significant growth

2011: Obtained ISO 9001 certification

2012: Named as a Gazelle company for the second time and thus part of the small, exclusive circle of companies that qualified to be Gazelle companies more than once

2013: Receives an AAA certificate in recognition of the highest possible credit rating and still retains this credit rating

2017: Blue Line establishes an office in Ireland and boosts European expansion

2018: Winner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark's Vitus Award for the company’s ability to convert ideas into concrete international results

2018: Blue Line moves its headquarters to new facilities in Hinnerup, Denmark

2019: The international expansion continues in more countries, including the United States and Canada

2021: Launch of the world's most lightweight Cleanroom Tablet computer enabling complete digitization of work processes in cleanrooms

2023: New headquarters with 4-doubled capacity to meet the significantly increased demand and customers' expectation of high delivery security
