“Good entrepreneurship and good suppliers are crucial for us, and we have often found hardware at Blue Line, which we have done business with for a number of years,” says Michael Fritzen, Account Manager.
PCs in hospital environments require special expertise
“When COMM2IG was to carry out a task for the hospital industry, we needed some panel PCs. Over the years, we have bought a number of types of rugged PCs from Blue Line, so in this case, of course, we also wanted to see what they could offer,” says Michael Fritzen.
“The new computers were to be used in the pathological unit at a hospital with very special requirements for the equipment’s hygiene. The rugged computers are mounted with touch monitors so they comprise the panel PCs, which were to be used in various situations. At Blue Line, we found PCs and screens that were perfectly suited for the purpose,” says Michael Fritzen.
The panel PCs are mounted in a frame, so they almost look like the screen of an ordinary computer, but they characteristically are not operated using mouse and keyboards, which would be much too unhygienic for hospital use. Instead, they are operated using the touch monitor, which can even take place while wearing gloves and, of course, they withstand high-pressure cleaning, such as being disinfected.
COMM2IG has delivered solutions to a number of Danish hospital units. Their strength is in the area of solutions for the health industry and having good dialogues with the Danish regions regarding developing their solutions.
